Mobile Suit Gundam

Mobile Suit Gundam is really a anime series, produced by sun rise. Created and directed by Yoshiyuki Tomino, it sparked in Japan on Nagoya Broadcasting Network on April 7, 1979, and lasted until January 26, 1980, exposing 43 events. This was the initial Gundam series, that has been adapted in to numerous sequels and spin-offs. Back in 1981, the series was re-edited for theatrical release and divide up into three pictures. Yoshikazu Yasuhiko designed the characters, and Kunio Okawara was responsible including the eponymous robot, the RX-78-2 Gundam. The very first movie was released on February 22, 1981.
